Problem with deletion of folders/subfolders

When I tried to delete a folder or a subfolder, I am getting the following
error :

Cannot delete xxx: It is being used by another person or program.

I am the only one who uses the computer and no other programs were open.
(files in the folders and subfolders were all removed, though). I am
wondering what is the problem.

Try the deletions either via a Command Prompt or Safe Mode.
