Problem with Contacts

W

Wayne Wengert

I am moving to a new system and after installing Office 2003 I put a copy of
my old pst file in my accont on the new system amd most of my information
seems to be working as expected except for the contacts. I can open the
contacts and that all looks correct but when I compose a new mail message
and click on "To:" in order to select entries I get an error saying "The
address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated with
this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted...."

If I click "OK" I then get a popup "Select Names" and under the "Select
Names From" rhere are 2 instances of "Contacts". If I select the 2nd one,
all of my contacts are there.

How can I get Outlook to use the valid instabce of Contacts as the default?

TIA

Wayne

Remove the Outlook Address Book service from your mail profile, stop and
restart Outlook, and add the service back in.
