problem with contacts and long distance. How do I get rid of +1

Don C

In contacts it always adds an + in front of the 1 -416-###-####

This seems to confuse my Motorola Q and I always get a recording that "you
have dialed a # to which long distance charges apply"

A real pain in the neck.

Anybody have a solution to make this problem go away?

What problem? Outlook uses standard format, as it must. Your problem is not
with Outlook. If Motorola has a problem, take it up with them.
