Hi,
My OE won't let me go onto any website with .co.uk. It keeps tranfering me
to a damn porn page something like img.skenzo.com.
All other sites are ok like .com etc.
How do I fix please? This also happens in Firefox.

Many thanks.

sorry I meant Internet Explorer, not OE.

Further my post from yesterday I have now solved the problem by downloading
"HitmanPro". (See www.hitmanpro.nl). The download - a combination of all
the best anti-spyware programmes - is quite lengthy and the scan will take at
least an hour. However, it is well worth it ! It is also frightening to see
how much other rubbish it found when you have the impression that your
computer is safe.

It would also appear that, unknowingly, MS Malicious software remover IS the
source since I appear to have downloaded to 'fake' updates !!!

Hope this helps.

Have u recently downloaded an update to MS Malicious software? I have the
same problem and I am wondering if this update was a fake and is the source
of this trojan or what ever you want to call it.

= Scan for malwares and Viruses on your computer from here:
The best is to scan your computer with online scanner from here:
http://www.pandasecurity.com/activescan
http://www.trendmicro.com
And also for malwares from here:
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
http://www.safer-networking.org ; for Spybot S&D

= Then try to Disable the Add-Ons on your Browser somehow your browser been
hooked by Add-ons or Plug-ins which act as an ear/spy for that site to
redirect
you to where they want you to go.
On how to disable the Add-ons follow this:
Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Networking and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
click on Programs Tab and then click the Manage Add-Ons Button there Disable
the None/Not Verified Plug-ins/Add-ons .

= Click on Advanced Tab and scroll down under this Option and uncheck the box:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third Party Browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this
and click [OK] to confirm your Changes.
Reboot and see if you will be redirected.
HTH.
Please report back your result.
Regards,
nass
