My CD drive is running properly, but my DVD drive is not. It is disabled

is causing my windows to run unstable with many unwanted restarts.
The problem is that when I unplug the CD drive the DVD starts running and
turns off the CD drive. And vice versa.
I'm sorry but I don't understand your post. You say the DVD drive causes
the system to run unstable with many unwanted restarts, but then you don't
say anything about these unwanted restarts, when they occur, if there are
any error messages, and what exactly do you mean by restart.
Also you state that when you unplug the CD drive (unplug how?), the DVD
starts running (what does that mean?), then turns off the CD drive. Well
if you "unplugged" the CD drive that implies you turned it off. Is this an
external CD and DVD?
Please start from the beginning, describe the computer system, how it's
configured, and the problems you are seeing. When did these problems begin.
What happened right before they started? Has it ever run well? When do
they occur and in what fashion? Help the folks here help you.
