Problem with bullets

I have a presentation that a placeholder was added with a bulleted list or a
place holder was pasted into my presentation. The bullets are not the same as
the bullets in the master slide. How to I apply the bullets from the
presentation into this place holder. If I create another slide and paste the
list in that slide the old bullets appears. I want the bullets to be
consistent in the presentation. Is there a way to apply the bullets from my
presentation template into this placeholder.I am using Powerpoint 2003.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You might want to try creating a new slide with the correct placeholder,
selecting the text on the old slide, pressing CTRL+C to copy the text,
switching to the new slide, clicking inside the textbox, clicking the "Edit"
menu, clicking "Paste Special", then choosing the "Unformatted text" option.

I think Bill's suggestion may be the easiest fix for you. But I'll toss in
that you may need to apply the appropriate slide master to this slide. You
might also try reapplying the slide layout after you've applied/reapplied
the master.
