Problem with Bluetooth

Hi,

I cannot seem to find the "Bluetooth Devices" program in the Control Panel.
I have checked the Device Manager, and the Bluetooth Devices are working
properly.

Is there any way I can install the manage Bluetooth Devices icon?

Really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

SP2 needs to be installed if you are going to use XP's native bluetooth
functions. If you installed SP2 via Windows Update and there were no
bluetooth devices present at that time, bluetooth install may have been
skipped. Re-apply SP2.

If no SP2 or if the device requires more than the basic support in SP2,
install the drivers that came with the device.

When a bluetooth device is detected, a new icon finally appears in Control
Panel. It's name is "My Bluetooth Places." If not apparent in the XP style
control panel, try clicking the link on the left that says "Switch to
Classic View." The control panel applets should show up listed
alphabetically.

You're right, I applied SP2 using Windows update.
Sorry, but, can you tell me how to re-apply SP2? I did not turn on the
blue-tooth device the last time, so, maybe I can try it again.

Thanks.

While applying SP2 through the update site is a nice alternative, my issue
with that method is just this type of situation where something skipped
becomes important to the use of the computer and its components down the
road.

You can download the complete SP2 package or order it on CD:
Download (there is mention of networked installs but this works fine on a
standalone computer and is what comes on the CD):
