Problem with Aim

Hey can anyone help me with a problem that im having with Aim? The problem
with started out when i opened a link in my friends sn and that link was a
virus i think; i ran my nortan and it didnt find anything. The problem was
when someone im me my away message goes on right away and in the away message
there is the same link. I tryed unstalling that and stalling aim again but
than i got another problem; when i try to im someone a error message comes up
the name of the message is hyperbarss3.dll i think. can someone help me pls

Hmm, Aim has nothing to do with XP, but AOL, refer to them for help.
