Hi
Since A had migration from NT domain to Active Directory... some Windows
2000 Workstations wich already has been in the NT domain in the past , have
problems to logon users into Active directory domain
The logging on to domain takes much more time then before ..
This issue apperas only in Windows2000 Workstations...
Does anyone had something like that ... ?
Regards

Yes. It's a fairly common problem when the 2000 Pro has already been in an
NT domain.

Check the client's DNS settings. You might find that it's looking for a
domain name that is a single-part name, such as FOO, rather than foo.com.
The client should be configured to look for the fully-qualified domain name.

Make sure all win2k and up systems are configured to use
the DNS server(s) responsible for your domain. The delay
is likely caused by the systems trying (unsuccessfully) to
retreive domain resource information from your ISP's DNS.
hope this helps.
