problem with a view in normal

In word my document is displayed with a margin to the left with the word
Normal displayed. This is not displayed on the print preview. i have tried
different displays showing the formating ect bur cannot remove this from my
view. Can anyone help?

On the Tools menu, click Options. Click the View tab. Set the "Style
area width" to zero. Click OK.
