Hey
Im havign a problem with the welcome screen, instead of a
welcome screen a classic screen promt jst appears.
Someone very kindly gave me the answer why but i dont
understand what he means!!! Peas ecould you put this in
english for me:
You've installed networking protocols that do not support
the Welcome screen. These you will have to remove from
the properties of your connection. I cannot tell you what
protocols you need to keep installed, your ISP can
provide that information, but generally most home users
need tcp/ip and a client.
Thank you
Much appreciated

I don't think that the problem has anything to do with network
protocols or with your ISP.

If you have XP Professional, make sure that it's configured to be a
member of a workgroup, not a domain.

Go to Control Panel | User Accounts, click "Change the way users log
on or off", and put a check mark in the box for "Use the Welcome
screen"
