Problem while creating DB in Sql server ce

My device : TOSHIBA Pocket PC e740
Device Operating System : Windows Mobile 2003
Device processor : Intel (R) PXA250

I selected processor Type "arm" (from the list arm, armv4, mips, sh3,
wce420x86 and x86) while I install SQL CE in my Pocket PC. I installed
without any error. Then I try to launch the Query analyzer, it opens.

Then I try to connect to SQL Server CE, since there is no database I
try to create new database. The problem araises there.

The steps I followed,

1. I tap the "New Database" button,
2. In the Path column I entered "\Test.sdf"
3. I leave the sort column as its default value, "General"
4. I am not entered anything in the Password column. Also leave the
Encrypt option as uncheck (default)

I expect a new database in the name "Test", BUT ...

It showed a error like follows

ISQLW ERROR:

Failed to initialize the provider. Please make sure that SQL Server
for Windows CE is properly installed.

I dedly need the solution. If any one know the reason / solution
please post it.

Hi friends,

Finally I found the reson for the problem ....

While installing Sql server ce along with the sqlce.dev.ppc3.arm.CAB
and sqlce.ppc3.arm.CAB I installed sql.ppc3.arm.CAB also. This extra
installation is raised the problem in provider initializing while
creating new database.

with regards,
Sen
