Problem veiwing mail

Help having problem seeing mails, everything has worked ok for the last year,
with no new programs installed. When view is sent to ‘Show All Messages’
mails are not visible in any folder and folder shows 0 messages despite
having data, when view is changed to ‘Hide Read Messages’ I can see the
unread messages within the folder.

Windows Live Mail has the same issue? That's most peculiar.
It sounds like you may have a malware or virus infection.
I'll defer to PA Bear who has some good resources he can point you to.
