problem updating from ME

Hi, I am updating from windows ME to XP Pro. Everything
seems to be going well except for when I view the full
report after it checks system compatability during
installation. It says that the Plug and Play BIOS
Extension (System Device) is not compatable and won't work
after installation. After reading up on Plug and Play
BIOS I am assuming that this would not be a good thing at
all. Please help because I am not that good with
computers and I do not know if I should try to fix this
problem or just proceed with the installation anyway.

Rick, depending on how old your computer is there's probably a Bios update
that you could find at either the
Manufacturers website or the Motherboard Manufacturers website. If this
info is not available to you try
www.belarc.com They will do a free inventory of your system.
