Problem typing text hotmail; curser jumps all over page as I type

When I try to type a message to send in hotmail, the curser will jump to a
different part of message already typed; I have to watch very carefully and
delete where it put letters in wrong place and put the curser back to the end
of sentence I was typing. I shut my computer off at night hoping this will
correct the problem but it is always there. This doesn't happen on my
computer at work, so it's something within my computer. A month ago, my
computer crashed and everything was put on new. Please help!

You don't even mention in your message what program you are using to write
your emails. Outlook? Lotus Notes? Outlook Express? Whatever it is, that
is the newsgroup you should post to. This newsgroup is for the application
