Problem Trying to Reinstall Office

I am having problems with my Office suite and first tried to use the Detect
and Repair feature and then tried to reinstall the program. Both times I get
the error message "The installation source for this product is not available.
Verify that the source eixts and that you can access it." I've tried
removing the Windows Installer registry settings using the Windows CleanUp
utility. This did not help. I'm wondering if my Windows Installer is
corrupted? If so, do I need to reinstall SP2? And, if I need to reinstall
SP2 do I need to remove it before doing so? I am the only user of this
system and have administrator rights. Can anyone suggest other approaches?
Thank you in advance.
