Problem saving changes to FP 2002 html website pages

I've created a website with FP 2002. All of a sudden, any changes I make to
one html page file with 'index' in it's title is being reflected in all files
beginning with index in their file names (e.g. index.html,
index_November.html). When I open any index file from the folder list, they
all reflect the same changes--even though the Modified Dates are old.

I've noticed that in Page Properties all the index files have
http://www.website.com/body.html listed in the location field. I don't ever
remember creating a body.html file, and don't know how to change the location
of the files or break the link between these files.

Each month when I update my website, I save the index file with a different
name, revise it, and then save it over the index file. Now, I can't seem to
do that.

Please help!

Do the "Index" pages have a shared border area where you are making the change, if so you either
have to remove the shared border or make your change outside of the shared border area of the page.

I don't understand the reference to 'shared border'. My index.html file is
the home page of my website. Every month I update it. Previously, I was
able to save as my index file (e.g. index_September as index_October). Now,
whatever changes I make to one index file makes changes to all the previous
index files.

The only thing I notice is that all the pages have 'body.html' as their
location. I don't think I ever created a body file.

I just want to be able to make changes in one file without effecting all the
previous files, so that I can have an archive of each month's home page.
Thanks!

Can you provide a URL to your site?

You are using frames, so when you save the index page, you also have to save the individual page
that load into each of the frames with a different name, then edit the frameset to load these pages.

Thomas,

Thanks! I will look at the frame issue. I just don't understand why this
issue has just come up. I had been updating my website for several months
with no problem. Could it have anything to do with reinstalling Frontpage on
another computer? Or whether I originally created the website as a web-based
site or disc-based(hardrive), and whether I've opened the site from my
hardrive or web server?

Thanks again!
