Problem Restarting

I try to start Win2K and it goes to the ScanDisk screen
and then restarts. This happens continuously. If I try to
go to Safe Mode, the system pauses for a while and then
restarts. I have tried booting off of the setup CD and
running repair, but the same problem persists.

Any ideas??

There are some programs that you must uninstall totally
before you can install a new version, failure to uninstall
will cause an error like you're describing....I had a
problem similar to yours when I installed Norton
Systemworks 2003 over an older edition of NAV without
deleting the original copy. Did you install some software
or anything like that?
