problem reloading a theme banner

Recently I changed my index page's theme banner and it changed all the pages
on the site to that same message. When I try to reload the theme, only the
body and the page links on left shows that theme, but the banner area is
blank and won't update. I've tried changing the theme totally, but that
didn't work either. How do I get it back and get all the other pages to show
the correct banner (i.e., the name of the page I have set up for them in
navigation)??

The FP page banner displays the page names (from your nav view)
- optionally using a theme for the page
- the theme just determines the background image used to create it

Post a Url to the published site/ pages or explain better your problem

Stefan, go to www.calvaryumcap.org and you will see that the page banners do
not appear on any page of the site. I'm using the theme "blends" as my
template. It just won't load. ????

I don't see them and they are not in your code at
http://www.calvaryumcap.org/_borders/top.htm
Add it in the empty paragraph you have in your top.htm at
<p align="center">&nbsp;</p>

PS
Delete the empty div in your top.htm
<div style="width: 477; height: 37">
<font face="Times New Roman">
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0pt">&nbsp;</font></div>

You might want to double check a couple of things as it's easy to overlook
one of the many steps that go into making theme and banner changes (and
there's a number of ways to do something). I would check that your 'Shared
Borders' are correctly set and you can also take a look in the 'theme' dialog
box and go to Modify and check under 'Graphics' and make sure you've got the
appropriate banner you want. And don't forget to check the appropriate box in
the easy to overlook choice of "All Pages' or the jsut the current page. You
also have to make sure when you're changing your links that you select to use
the 'page theme' and make the appropriate 'horizontal' or 'vertical' choice
when asked. The links themselves are also affected by action you might take
using the 'web components' selection in the drop down menu under
'insert'...I'm not trying to be a smart guy, but it's easy to miss something
