Hi All - I am trying to help a friend long distance. She is running 2000; I
am running 2002. When she makes a change - she publishes. She gets a lot
of questions regarding navigation, etc.... she is working on part of the
site - and someone else is long distance. She keeps answering no - don't
replace. I told her to say Let FrontPage merge the documents. She selects
update changed pages only. When she gets the message that the site is
published... she checks it out and she says the pages aren't changed. I
asked her to refresh her browser - and that wasn't it.

Can anyone help? I suspect that she should just download the site back to
her machine - make the changes, and then republish back to the server....
because of the changes happening on 'both' ends of the designing... but
thought I would ask the experts first!! If you need any additional info -
just ask!! If you have any suggestions - either post to the group or to me
personally at (e-mail address removed). Thanks in advance!

Oh - the site is http://www.carolscreations.net Thanks again!

I think it'd probably be a good idea to have her publish the server web down
to her machine, make the changes then tell FrontPage to overwrite
navigation, etc. (because you'll/she'll know it's OK)
I occasionally get those warnings for what appear to be no reason. since
I'm the only one working on my webs I just tell it to overwrite the nav.
it's probably some glitch, don't let it get to you. ;-)

Yes
She should always Publish to her local, edit, and publish back (same w/ other editors)
- never select merge (always use replace w/ navigation)
