Problem opening web page with FrontPage 2000

With web page open with IE6, select File/Edit With Microsoft FrontPage. An
error banner launches with path "C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Local
Settings\Tempory Internet Files\Content IE5\file name(1).htm"
The Device Not Ready.
Any ideas guys?????
Copying the page to the "C" drive allows mods to be made however the Publish
FrontPage Web button is then greyed out.
Again any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Open the site directly in FP via File Menu | Open Web, then use File Menu | Publish Web / Site
