Error open web page from I.E 6 File/Edit with Microsoft FrontPage

When opening webpage in I.E 6 selecting the File/Edit with FrontPage get the
following error message:
"C:\Documents and Settings|%user%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\KDPNEENU\file name(1).htm
The device is not ready"
Copying the page to a computer allows editing however the "Publish FrontPage
Web" button is greyed out.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Don't open the site via Internet Explorer.
Open FrontPage and then click File > Open Web, ( or open site ) enter the url of your site and then
enter the user name and password when prompted.

( Requires FrontPage extensions on the server )

It is greyed out because you only have a single page open instead of a
web.
import the file to a Web, then you can Publish it.
