Problem opening some Access 2000 Databases with passwords Access 2

Some databases that I have created in Access 2000 will not open with Access
2003.
All of the Access 2000 databases have passwords.

Please tell me how to get pass this problem.

Surprisingly, we do not have a direct video line to your PC!

Therefore, you will have to tell us /why/ or /how/ your databases "will
not open".

Exactly what happens when you try to open one?

Do you get an error message?

If so, what is it?
