problem opening profiles

I have two Outlook profiles. Until yesterday whenever I launched Outlook I
would get a box asking which profile I want to open.

Now when I launch Outlook it automatically opens one of my profiles - no
option to choose the one I want.

The only exception is that the first time I launch Outlook after re-starting
Windows, I do get the box asking which profile I want. But once I've selected
one that's the one that always opens automatically (unlessI restart Windows).

Hope this is clear.

Sounds like Outlook isn't really closing. I'll bet outlook.exe is still
running in the background....check it out in task manager. Make sure you're
using File | Exit (or File | Exit & Logoff) rather than just "x'ing" out of
the app.....an addin or handheld sync software might be keeping it running,
too.
 
Thank you. Task manager shows Outlook s closed. However I just installed the
LinkedIn toolbar. Maybe that's what is doing it.
