Problem opening one folder in Outlook 2007

Today I have tried to read a new email that automatically went into a folder,
only to find that this one specific folder wont open. I get the following
error:

"The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook."

I have restarted Outlook several times and have also tried restarting my
laptop. But with no luck.

I was able to go to my webmail to see what the email was and asked the
sender to send it again, and have had no problems viewing the email :( But
still cant open the folder

Any ideas as to what the problem is or how I go about solving it...????

Many Thanks
Emma

Is it a Default folder and which one or is it a folder that you have created

It is one I have created for emails from a specific person to go in to

Right-click on the folder , choose Properties and in the dialog box that
appears ensure that on the General tab, the Type says Folder containing Mail
and Post Items and that the location is in your Personal Folder...
