Problem opening mail in Outlook 07 beta

Greetings. I downloaded and installed MS Office Pro 2007 beta. When I
attempt to check my mail using Outlook, I receive the following error
message: "The set of folders cannot be opened. An unexpected error has
occurred. MAPI was unable to load the information service msncon.dll. Be
sure the service is correctly installed and configured." What is your
suggestion? --CrazyRev

If you have an MSN Premium or Outlook Live account and want to try to get it to work with Outlook 2007, you can download a new version of the Outlook Connector from http://g.msn.com/0CR1033/3.

I had a similar error and eventually worked out I was actually attempting to
start an earlier version of Outlook up.

Whilst the rest of the Office suite seems to run side-by-side with O2007b2,
Outlook doesn't (for me anyway).

Look in the Microsoft Office in your start bar for Outlook 2007 rather than
using the one in your quick launch or the default mail at the top left of
your start bar.

Might help.

Additionally, try running the Microsoft Office Diagnostics application in
your "Tools" folder on your "Start" menu." It is suprisinly useful. I had
to uninstall Outlook 2003 to get things working correctly.

I tried all the above and yet to no avail. I uninstalled my Outlook live
account. And, still I cannot open Outlook 2007 beta. Any other suggestions?

What kind of accounts do you have in your mail profile? Errors? Other symptoms?
