Everytime that I want to open Explorer, I got a message
saying that there is an error and cannot display
Explorer. The error says: "winshow.dll". I don't know how
can I fix it.

Margie,
winshow.dll = Coolwebsearch trojan

How to remove Coolwebsearch and affiliates

Note: this type hijack indicates an unpatched machine, that is lacking
in "Defense". Please visit Windows Update to avoid these exploits.

Hi Margie. I assume you're using IE 6.0? It sounds like
your dll file may be missing or corrupted. Fortunetly
Internet Explorer has a built in "check and correct my
files" utility built in but it's wierd how it works.

Go to your control panel and select add/remove programs.
Then click on Microsoft Internet Explorer and click on the
Add/Remove button. A window will pop-up that asks you if
you want to reinstall, remove, or repair itself. Select
the "Repair" option and it will replac ehtat dll file for
you. Good luck. Max R.
