Hi Sylvia,
You can change the input and display languages of English
Windows XP by taking the following steps (without
downloading the Office global IME):
1) Control panel / Regional and Language Options /
Languages / check install files for east asian languages
2) Reboot if it was not already enabled
3) Return to that location, click details / Add / select
your language
By performing these steps you will be able to input
Chinese via the IME toolbar (which may be minimized to
your taskbar near your clock), and view Chinese text in
webpages. If you want to use Chinese programs, you would
have to change another option in the regional settings
control panel called 'Language for non-unicode programs'.
Good Luck!

Hello everybody!
My computer is using Microsoft window xp Professional. I
need to type chinese character, so I download the global
IME for XP office from Internet. After the download
process is completed, I can't run the imecht.exe program
