Problem Networking My 2 Computers

Guest

I have a new Dell computer with Windows XP Media that I'm trying to network
with my other Dell running Windows XP. I previously had another computer
that networked just fine. I can see both computers in the Network but the
Livingroom computer will not allow access to the Upstairs Computer. I did a
browser stat and got this:
Status for domain MSHOME on transport
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{89813E4D-B5BE-42FE-BF8D-07C18463C715}
Browsing is active on domain
Master browser name is: LIVINGROOM
Master browser is running build 2600
1 backup servers retrieved from master LIVINGROOM\\LIVINGROOM
Unable to retrieve server list from LIVINGROOM: 1

Does this help in figuring out my problem; all suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Carla,

The browser is a lot of fun to diagnose. It's far easier, when you have
multiple computers, to diagnose when you look at "ipconfig /all" and "browstat
status", for all computers, together.
