I am trying to install XP on a computer that already runs Win 98 SE. During
the install, it says that there is already a folder called "Windows" on the
C: drive. If I say, okay, overwrite that file, it says it's installing, it
reboots, and comes back to exactly the same screen. It's like I can't get
out of the loop. What is the best way to get XP on this computer. I don't
need Win 98 anymore, nor do I need to keep any of the files currently on the
computer. I wanted to start from scratch.

Please help - THANKS!

install xp cd,restart computer,boot to xp cd,select,install xp,delete
partition
(98),create new, then xp will format and install.
