Problem installing sp4 - not a valid win32 application

Hi,

When I try to apply the Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4)
on my Windows 2000 Professional Operating System I get the
error " not a vaid win32 application". I had downloaded
the patch from the Microsoft site (W2KSP4_EN.EXE).

Can any one tell me what is the problem ?

Right-click the file W2KSP4_EN.EXE that you have
downloaded and click Properties; see if Size is
135,477,136 bytes, and if Version is 5.3.10.0, and - most
important - if Digital Signatures tab shows Timestamp 20
June 2003 and Details button available after clicking on
the Signature list.
Sometimes the downloads stop before completion, and then
Size etc. are corrupted; if so - repeat download and hope
you succeed this time.
