Problem installing Office XP on Mac

I installed Parallels and XP Home on a new Mac. When I attempted to install
Office XP (which I received from my work administrator), the install wizard
indicated that the Product ID is invalid. I had previously installed this
same Office XP on a pc. Any suggestions?

This is a Windows newsgroup. An MS Office newsgroup
or a Mac newsgroup would be a far better place to post
your question.

Jocmd,

Try the Office newsgroups because you won't get an answer here as no-one wants a mac

When you install software on a virtual machine running a Windows
operating system in Parallels, it is no different from installing it on
a Windows operating system running on a standalone machine. Your issues
with the Product Key have nothing to do with the fact that the host
machine is a Mac. Either you are entering the Product Key incorrectly or
you have the wrong Product Key or you are entering some string of
numbers that is not the Product Key.

Check with your work administrator for the correct Product Key for your
Office suite.
