Problem installing Media Gear Flash-HD

Fox

I am using Windows 2000 and plugged in to the USB a Media Gear
Flash-HD (www.mymediagear.com). The problem is when I tried to install
the driver I get this message:
An error occurred during the installation of the device.
The installation failed because a function driver was not specified
for this device instance.

If I choose "have disk", "CD", or "Windows update", the wizard always
selects the c:\winnt\inf\usb.inf driver, which goes back to the same
problem.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I found a solution to the problem I had. I used a different USB cable
and the problem went away. Seems like I had a bad USB cable to begin
with. If anyone out there is having the same problem, try using a
different USB cable, it just might work for you as it did to me. Hope
this helps.
