problem inserting movies into powerpoint

cannot get movies (mper or avi) to insert into powerpoint, the movies will
play in media player but if i try to install in powerpoint, it locks up.
 
Please stick with your original thread. There is no need to post the problem
again when you are getting replies and suggestions from people already.
