I have about 4 years of emails in Outlook Express (currently OE 6 that comes
with Win XP Pro SP2. I now want to migrate them all to Otulook 2003. I
have 2 problems with migrating the emails (tried both importing to Outlook
(performed on Outlook) and exporting to Outlook (performed on OE):
- A number of emails got the wrong date - they get today's date.
- When I click on or hover over the name of the sender/reciepient, it
doesn't show the email address. It is treated as if it is normal word.

Can you point me to the fix please - thanks.

yeah.. .start over and export from OE.

Importing messages from OE using Outlook will change the received date of
messages to match the date of import. Instead, export them from within
Outlook Express. File>Export>Messages.
- When I click on or hover over the name of the sender/reciepient, it
doesn't show the email address. It is treated as if it is normal
word.

Hover over it where? I don't recall a feature like that in Outlook.

You might have more luck with Aid4Mail. It can read your Outlook Express
mail folders and export messages to MS Outlook. Dates, Sender/Recipient
addresses, and mail status information (unread, read, replied, etc.) are all
correctly restored. More information about Aid4Mail and a download link
available on the following Web site:
