problem getting sp2

I usually have auto update switched off, and just update manually from the
windows update site. But since I can't get SP2 that way, I enabled auto
updates a while ago. I got a message that SP2 was ready to download and
clicked to confirm but now nothings downloaded or happened. I've tried
turning off auto update and then turning it back on but can't get anything.
Can anyone tell me how to do it? Cheers.

Don't worry: there are quite a lot of us in this position. Probably their
nerve will crack, and they will put it on the Update site. Also, we should
be able to order CD-ROMs soon (in about a week).

That is by design.
Microsoft is daily limiting the number of computers installing SP-2
through Automatic Update.
It could be soon or days.
