Problem from RUN Command

Hello, hope you can help -- When I type sfc / scannow or cmd in the run box I
get the following message --- The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc0000142)

Please help me , I really hope I don't have reinsatll windows and loss all
me programs etc.

Hi Phil,

Unusual error.

Are you logged on as an admin user?
Do you have Roxio's Easy CD Creator 4 installed?
Have you tampered with permissions?
