problem editing a page (getting a shaded circle with hash mark)

Trying to edit a page in fromtpage program.
Instead of my normal cursor, I am getting a shaded circle with a line drawn
through and unable to edit anything on that page.
Any suggestions?
 
Sounds like a non editable region on a page that contains a DWT.
