i have xp service/ pack two.the problem occurs when i try to transfer the
file to a dvd.Windoews returns the error that there is no dvd inserted or it
cannot read the dvd when i try to download info to the blank rewriteable dvd.
I have used different makes of dvd that are all rewritebale but still get the
same error.i also tried using multiple dvds with some files already saved on
it and it can play these movies fine but cannot record anything new.i have
also tried to burn the information from 3 different burning packages as well
as movie maker but always get the same error.Filetype should work fine and
have no issue in running the film ( 1 hour long) on the pc

I'm just guessing that you want to create a DVD that will play
in a free standing DVD Player.

Is it possible that you are working with the .mswmm Movie
Maker project file? .mswmm is only compatible with Movie
Maker and is used for re-editing purposes.

Have you tried saving the project in the .wmv or .avi format
and then using DVD Authoring software to burn the DVD?
