Problem display pictures in browser

We are going to a site which lists graphic images. We had
another problem for which we used Internet Repair tool but
it would failed so we reinstalled IE 6 Sp1. Since then
when clicking on the name of the image file, it no longer
displays in the browser. We were able to do this prior to
reinstall of IE 6. Is there an internet option that can be
changed to allow this?
 
It may be worth looking at your virus checker. It may be
blocking 'adverts' which I know norton Security can do.
It is ceretainly the case that this then sometimes blocks
images in the browser and on webpages. They annoying
thing is that on a webpage it doesnt show the red x so
you dont know something is missing. Worth a look.
