Help: PDF Not Displayed in Browser

We have a web application which generates PDF files and sends them to
the client browser using componentOne's VSVIEW8.

This has all been working fine with acrobat reader 5.1, but when we
upgraded to 6 the pdf's are no longer displayed in the browser (ie6
sp1).

the file is created properly and is sent, but the browser window stays
blank. if i then open acrobat the pdf is displayed in the reader???

The way that my Reader works is that the OE opens a window and then hides it
eventually, opening up the Reader and thus displaying the file.
