I am trying to connect outlook 2003 on Windows XP SP2 (rtm) computer to an
Exchange 2003 server. The computer is not part of the domain so I get a
login screen when I am trying to connect to the server via Outlook.
The problem is that I am using the correct user/pass but it still does not
connect.
The strange thing is that when I am trying to access a shared drive on the
exchange server
from this computer I am using the same user/pass and it allows me to access
the drive and also outlook web access does work, the only problem is within
outlook.

Any idea how to solve it ?

Thanks for your time

Try starting Outlook with the /rpcdiag switch. This should help determine
if you can't logon to the DC/GC or the Exchange information store.

Probably best to post in an Outlook group or m.p.exchange.clients as it
isn't likely an OS issue.
