Problem connecting to the internet with IE 6.

I am recently having problem using IE 6 browser to access
the internet through WAN. I'm getting 'page can not
display' Error everytime I open the browser. I am able to
get online with Nascape and have access to my local
network. The system is configured to obtain IP address
automaticately. Please help!!!!!!!!!!

Open the Internet Options applet in Control Panel
Uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions" on the Advanced tab.
You may also have to set the Home Page to about:blank

Then eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
