Problem Capturing into MM using Sony DCR-TRV530

I have been unable to get MM to recognize my Sony DCR-TRV530. Does anyone know if it is compliant with the 61883 Camera Control specification? I am using Windows XP. Has anyone been able to capture video to MM using this particular DV camcorder?

I have the sony dcr-dvd100, this may help you. The MM

soes not recognize the format of the sony, which comes
with USB and not firewire. This is what I did, using the
USB cable and the software that came with the camera, I
loaded the images onto my computer. I then used the
convert to mpeg feature to save all my files as mpegs.
Then I imported the mpegs into my collections on mm.
Hope this is clear enough.
