Problem cancelling print documents

We purchased a new computer with XP Pro. Installed on it is Symantic Fax
Starter.
We tried to test the printer by sending a Word document to it but itr did
not print. Now we cannot cancel or delete the document and cannot get rid of
the Symantic fax driver.
We have installed the correct print driver for our HP 1300 printer but the
Symantic driver seems to be preventing the HP driver from communicating even
though it is marked as the default printer.

I suspect that I need to remove the printer permission for the Symantic
driver but when I hold down the Ctrl key and click on properties, no security
tab displays.

How do I get access to change the control for this driver?

Please email me directly if possible as we need to use this printer right
away for a wedding bulletin.

Thanks - Dwayne Barber

Sadly, that would be a Symantec issue, you'll need to contact them to see
how to deal with their software. I would suggest you uninstall it if
possible.

Are we sure this is the same program? I have difficulty believing that a
NEW XP PC would be shipped with Office 2000 and even more difficulty
believing that Outlook 2000 was already configured in IMO mode. To my
knowledge, this is the ONLY way one can acquire Symantec Fax Starter
Edition.
