Problem burning to DVD

Put together a video for my son's graduation using windows Movie Maker 2. It looks great when played in MM2 or windows Media player or off the burned CD. But when I tried burning it to DVD using Sonic's MY DVD 5 , the pictures were not in sync with the words of the MP3 audio file that I used for the video. Can't figure out how to fix. Please help.

MP3 are often a source of problems, can you remake it using wav/wma files
instead
