After removing a trojan horse virus by editing the
registry, now when I restart or reboot the
windows\system32 folder is open on the desktop. Any ideas
how I can make this go away? Thanks Shirley

Hi Shirley

Did you manually edit the Registry or did you use a Registry 'cleaner'? If
by using a Registry 'cleaner' see if that program has an 'undo' option.
Failing that:

Fixed it my self by booting into safemode with command
prompt then editing the registry. Thanks
