problem after new install of sp2

I just installed service pack 2 and now it takes 3-4
minutes to launch a browser. Please help.

Clean Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and other temporary files:

Check for errors and defragment hard drive:

Clean Windows Startup and hidden Startup:

Spyware/Virus Removal and Prevention:

Alternatives to IE are Mozilla, Firefox and Opera.
