TWO WEEKS AGO I DOWNLOADED UPDATES ON MY HOME COMPUTER .
SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE
INTERNET.
I USE PEOPLEPC.COM AND I CAN CONNECT BUT SHORTLY AFTER I
GET A MESSAGE THAT THE COMPUTER WILL SHUT DOWN IN 60
SECONDS.
THE MESSAGE REFERS TO LSA SHELL ERROR #1073741819
WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ISASS.EXE
WHAT CAN I DO , IS THEIR A FILE THAT NEEDS TO BE DELETED

Sounds like a computer virus, maybe caused by using counterfiet updates
not from Microsoft.

Check your machine with up-to-date anti-virus software.

Also, learn to write without shouting in all CAPs.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

This is the Sasser Worm causing this. I have seen this already. Download the Sasser Worm removal tool.

Now that we have your attention about not using CAPS on the internet,
your computer is infected with the sasser worm virus.. You need to go
to the page below and carefully follow the instructions. Be certain
to turn ON your internet firewall, if you fail to do this, you will
just get the virus again and again.

1. Turn off CAPS. It is difficult to read, and is considered to be the
equivalent of SHOUTING.
2. Your computer is infected with the SASSER worm.
3. Your computer was infected because you have not been to Windows Update
and updated your OS. You have not enabled Windows Firewall, and you do not
have an Antivirus program running.
4. Enable the windows Firewall.
5. To stop the shutdown, when the message appears, go START>Run and type in
"shutdown -a" (without the quotes).
Go to Windows update and read about securing your computer, then install the
updates that would have prevented your computer from being infected by the
SASSER, BLASTER or Netsky worms.
6. Purchase and install a reputable Antivirus Program and keep it updated.

Until you begin practicing better computer security, you are not only a
threat to yourself but to everyone else that has a computer that connects to
the internet.

I would remind you that your computer is probably infected with other
worms, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware and malware. You need to read some
of the posts in this newsgroup and educate yourself so that you do not
become a victim again.
