problem after importing videos

Hi i import the videos on MOvie maker 2 but as soon the video is
imported.........i get an hourglass and than movie maker shut down and doesnt
allow anything to do........ple ple help me as i need to do a
project............thanks

Maybe IE8 is the problem...have you tried uninstalling it?
